This just in - Global Warming Causes Industrial Revolution

OK - you heard it here first: We had an industrial revolution because of global warming, not the other way around. I've been pondering this idea for a while, and here are the basic points:
a) global warming is real, but it's part of a normal pattern of cycles. probably caused by sunspot cycles, churning magma, complex atmospheric phenomena, or (who knows?) the ocean.
b) after the 'mini ice age' in the 16th century, a progressive warming has occurred.
c) finally things got warm enough that the growing season increased in length. this enabled a different kind of agriculture to arise, transitioning from subsistence farming to farming for the marketplace.
d) now that a capability arose to support large numbers of people who were not themselves actually growing any food, it became possible for a new system to arise in which people worked in factories, to get money, to buy food so that they would not starve. This trend was supported by growth in population, so that there were many more people than the numbers that subsistence farming would support.

e) the growth of industry made it possible for even more people to live without themselves growing food. etc. etc.
